If Gwen had any sense, she'd have noticed by now that Jack really isn't interested. She seems to be under the mistaken impression that anyone she sets her sight on will automatically be interested in her. She needs to grow up and focus on the man she's preparing to marry. Either that or let Rhys free is she's not going to stay faithful to him.
